(observations during a March rain)

i doubt that i’m in thermal
equilibrium with anything
at all. for i need heated
blankets to keep me warm
and lemon sorbet to cool me.

i)
the elk is not a destroyer
as its stomach churns out
conifers. my employer is a
destroyer for he spews out
grey smoke.

ii)
all the entropy comes from
somewhere; i suppose my
words at least act as twigs
if you call entropy a hellfire

iii)
mahogany is disorderly
according to the college
art major. not a reliable
resource (?)
